When developing the concept for their second and third offerings, Caravan wanted to develop a brand for their suite of venues that would represent the unique feeling of their hospitality. Caravan brought Australian café culture to Seoul, South Korea, to celebrate fresh local ingredients, beautiful surroundings and an appreciation for community.
A close collaboration with Melbourne-based interior architect Flack Studio was key to the success of the project and our brief. The brand was influenced by and integrated into the venues’ striking architecture; the iconic red blinds became a universal signifier. The three venue names were incorporated across all collateral to promote the individual yet unified offer.
By working with illustrators Stefhany Y. Lozano and Aisha Franz for the illustrative elements of Caravan Hapejong and Bakery respectively, a sense of local cheer was injected into the brand.
Caravan Dosan Park and Caravan Bakery launched in 2018 and was warmly received by global press.
